Active Principles
It is a crystalline organic compound, colorless of a formula CO (NH2). It was the first organic compound artificially synthesized in 1828 by Friedrich Woehler, obtained from the heating ammonium cyanate (inorganic salt).

Properties
Urea increases the osmolarity of blood plasma, increasing the flow of water from tissues interstitial space. It has a moisturizing, keratolytic and antibacterial action.

Its main action in the Nutritional Facial Moisturizer and Nutrient Hands Moisturizer, of Be Basic Line, is to increase and keep the hydration and to decrease the layer of keratinocytes.
